This XVI edition of the 'Històric' has been one of the hardest of all that have been held, with 27 demanding stages divided into two long days of competition, 12 and 14 hours each, which has been a tough challenge for many of the teams. Of the 89 that started on Friday from the podium installed in the Passeig del Mar de Palamós, only 59 have finished the race, 18 of them with options to qualify for the European Champions title.
Closing the 16th edition of the Costa Brava Rally, the organizer and head of RallyClassics, Alex Romaní, summed up his feelings: "For us the best thing is that the participants leave Palamós enchanted with our rally, the Costa Brava and Catalonia, as well as the organization that this time has been integrated by 70 volunteers ". Romaní did not hide his gratitude for the confidence that Palamós has given him since 2017 to host the rally and welcome participants and the public, as well as all the sponsors and collaborators, including l'Associació per the Foment Empresarial del Comerç i Turisme de Palamós (FECOTUR), Aigua de Vilajuïga, Port Esportiu-Marina Palamós and especially the Brugarol Group, as well as the Diputació de Girona and the Generalitat de Catalunya-EsportCat.
